After testing LNG trucks on daily runs through Germany the Hartman Group is investing in LNG trucks for further CO2 reduction. The first truck was taken over after the test and this truck, a Scania R410 LNG already has made the first 100.000 kilometres, reducing more than 25% on CO2. Four new Volvo FH460 LNG tractors and two Iveco S-Way NP tractors are joining the fleet later this year. The LNG trucks are used 24/7 on runs between the Veenoord crossdock facilities and locations in Germany where trailers are swapped on the route to Scandinavia.
